Golden Acres Farm and Therapeutic Ranch was created from a desire to provide a safe and educational environment where people and horses can explore connection and experience healing, growth, and enrichment in their lives.
At the heart of Golden Acres Farm is Kerri, a dedicated practitioner with a deep passion for holistic healing of the mind, body, and spirit. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Alternative Medicine and a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Kerri brings together her academic background, lived experience, and heartfelt mission to support individuals—both children and adults—who have experienced trauma.
Kerri is certified in Level 1 and Level 2 of Natural Lifemanship, a trauma-informed model of equine-assisted therapy and learning that emphasizes the power of healthy relationships. Through this approach, she partners with horses to offer clients meaningful opportunities for connection, regulation, and personal growth.
Golden Acres Farm is a lifelong dream brought to life—an emerging sanctuary where therapeutic work blends with the rhythms of nature. As the farm grows, Kerri envisions expanding its offerings to include hands-on, nature-based learning for children, such as goat milking, gardening, and other earth-centered skills that build confidence, responsibility, and connection to the natural world.
With a nurturing spirit and a steadfast commitment to healing, Kerri invites others to step into a space where they can rediscover themselves, build resilience, and connect—both with others and with the world around them.
